3-ring, one-inch binder. Absolutely no zipper or Velcro binders!!! Keep it simple!

2 packages wide-lined notebook paper to share with
the class
1 pencil box or zippered pencil poncho
2 pink erasers
colored pencils – used in science and very important
1 box of No. 2 pencils – NO mechanical
pencils (Also, avoid the “RoseArt” brand –
not a quality pencil)
glue sticks
1 ruler with both centimeters and inches –
old-fashioned wooden rulers are best
2 black and white “Composition” books
a small manual pencil sharpener
a pair of scissors
1 box of tissues to share with the class
skinny colored markers
3 x 3 post-its (3 pkgs

VERY optional items – sometimes nice to have
a water bottle
simple calculator
mini stapler (but then you have to supply your own
staples)
a roll of clear tape
an inexpensive drawing notebook
your own flash drive (a lanyard helps it not get
lost too easily)

WITH LIKE TOYS AND THEN BROKEN AND/OR TAKEN AWAY.
