Room 204 is a mulit-aged 3rd and 4th grade class. The children are blended for all subjects, except math, when they are divided by grade level. Third graders go to third grade classes for math instruction, and fourth graders are joined by other fourth graders in an effort to reduce class size for all fourth grades during the math block. Room 204 students work very hard in all content areas. Literacy is a big focus. They are currently learning the fourth grade science kits. Social skills and responsiblities are also emphasized. Parents and other relatives work hard to create extra music and art opportunities in addition to the support they provide for the regular program. |
