What’s happening in Spanish class?

¿Qué está pasando en la clase de Español?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

West Woodland Families,

 

You are all invited to attend the festivities at the Phinney Neighborhood Association for Day of the Dead this Friday night, Nov. 7th.

 

The event starts with a procession which begins at 75th and Phinney  at 6:30 p.m. and makes its way back to the Phinney Neighborhood  Center at  6532 Phinney Ave N. where you can pariticipate in the community altar and enjoy live music, hot chocolate, craft activities and more.  Everyone is welcome and costumes are encouraged.

 

Come see the exhibition of sugar skulls by our own West Woodland artists which will be on display at the center through November 22nd.

*On Oct. 19, 30, 31 we’re going to decorate our sugar skulls. Thank you Sra. Ari, our Spanish representative, who has been preparing more than four hundred sugar skulls for each student at our school.

* We’ll celebrate Halloween and “El dìa de los muertos” in Spanish class. Lets have  fun decorating our sugar skulls!
