Second Grade Spelling Words and Dictation Sentences Below you will find a link to a document containing this year's spelling words and sentences. Your goal is to master the words and dictation sentences using study techniques that work well for you. Everyone will need to learn the "CORE" words and dictation sentence #1 for Friday's test. However the "CHALLENGE" words and sentence #2 are optional. There are many different strategies you could use to study your words and sentences. On the back of the cover sheet is a list of some techniques you could try. It is not necessary to turn in these practice activities as long as you're doing well on your spelling tests.
