5.30 Principal Report: What’s been going on around WW

· Kindergarten Tours

· Kid’s Inc. in 105

· Math/Spanish meeting at PTA

· Miss Anna hired part time to help 2^nd/3^rd grade

· Math adoption narrowed to 2

· 4 assemblies last month

· Recorder program for 3^rd grade getting going

· Mr. Langley had a WA state travel show

· Budget review process beginning--#’s come out next Friday: Marilyn went over budget process and decision making matrix with the group. Question: How will we work through this with PTA and their budget?

· Heritage Night/International Dinner was well attended

· Several staff development days

· APP/Spectrum kids have been identified

· Math Night is under construction

· Book-It is rolling along

· Young Author’s Day is coming on March 24

· New Spanish club will be starting after school

• Michelle Fasser organizing Spanish club after school
• $25,000+ on annual fund drive

5.40 Parent Survey Results

• How do we publish the results of the survey?
• Kathy’s Idea: Each week in Sneaks, publish the percentages from one section, then address a comment and response to encourage on-going dialog.
• The survey comments are not to be published, but generalities will be addressed by Marilyn in Sneaks. This will start tomorrow, with Marilyn making a general statement about the survey.
• Staff AC members will talk to all staff about percentages.
• Pat will write up a list of percentages.
