Report
- Since
last time, lots of work done on budget.
- 5th
grade Book-It performance was great.
- March
Math Night canceled because of so many upcoming events.
6.40 Staff Report
- Candy
sale for outdoor ed. will start shortly for grades 3-5. There will be classroom incentives
instead of individual prizes this year.
- Katie
Barrett is starting a Friday sportsmanship award.
6.50 PTSA Report
- There
has not been a PTSA board meeting since last time.
- PTSA
is working on nominating to get new faces and energy into the group;
trying to recruit new people for PTSA.
- Date
for flea market will change to April 29.

Budget
- Marilyn
reviewed budget scenario and how budget will affect staffing for next
year.
- She
discussed how budget will support the five areas of the Transformation
Plan.
- Marilyn
will discuss the budget in less detail at the March 15 general PTSA
meeting
- Advisory
Council reached concensus on approval of Budget Model A and Class Size
Model A2.
Some additional budget related ideas:
- Allocate
some Kindergarten funds to principal allocation.
- More
email of forms (such as first day packet).
- Increase
Pay for K (suggestion of raising fee $10 per month for 2006-2007).

Parent Survey Results:
Wrap Up
- Pat
has percentages information that will be passed out to teachers.
- Q: What should we give to PTSA? Advisory Council agreed to give all
results to PTSA Board. Kathy will
give them a copy at the board meeting.
- Marilyn
and Bonnie have been writing up/addressing the concerns and comments in Sneaks
for the past few weeks.

Jar: There was a compliment for
the Feb. 2 “Fab Thursday” assembly.
