3.30 Principal Report

*Looking forward to conferences.

*Conference schedule was addressed in Sneaks.

*Conference evaluations were discussed at PTA board meeting. Will not introduce this idea this year.

*Finished math night and it was a success. Engaged/involved families working together.

*Veteran’s Day assembly next Tuesday. Focus will be honoring veterans and a celebration of peace.

*Sister school project in conjunction with Spanish class. Will donate school and sports supplies to El Salvador. Presentation to classes on Dec. 2.

*WPZoo wants to encourage our partnership.

3.31 Staff Report

*Bonnie and Paula went to an ALO workshop. WW is doing a good job of challenging all students.

3.32 PTSA Report

*Parent suggested an Amazon.com fundraiser. Marilyn checked with legal dept.—they want no advertising linked to the school website.

*Possible school meeting in Jan. to discuss priorities of the school and to provide an awareness of the context of our curricular programs.

*160 memberships in PTSA.

*Voting on visioning: top 6-7 items. Survey went out this week.

*Standing rules were approved and adopted, waiting for final approval.

*Annual appeal: 20% participation rate so far.

*Will not pass out at conferences.
